He was predeceased by: his mothers, Kathleen Gordon and Kathleen Pecor; and his stepfather Roland Pecor. He is survived by: his significant other Magie Hart; his son Jason Ploof (Mandy); his grandsons, Isaac and Caleb Ploof; and his sisters, Kim Francis (Paul), Laura Hubacher (Duane), Tina Cote (Charles Kirby) and Stacey Pecor. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews along with many friends.
