Jean Lavigne Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Lavigne (Winooski, Vermont), born in Burlington, Vermont, who passed away on December 16, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Napoleon Lavigne and Luciena Lavigne (Olivier); his siblings, Ernest, Lucien (Lucille), Paul (Kay), Leona, Leah Shepard (Gene), Irene Dextraze (Ray) and Doris Morgan (Fred); and his brother-in-law Knight Francis.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Hazen; his children, Mary Marceau (Michael), Richard, Margaret and Peter (Cindy); his sister Jeannette Chicoine (Robert) of Putnam, CT; his siblings-in-law, Helen Francis, Denise Schaefer and Dan Hazen (Judy); his granddaughters, Ann Potter (Billy) and Leah Lavigne; and his great grandchild Grant Potter. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to The Salvation Army, State of VT Nongame Wildlife Fund.
