He was predeceased by: his mother Laura Ann Monahan (Walkup); and his grandparents, Raymond, Olive Walkup, Edward and Florence "Tink" Monahan.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene Monahan; his children, Chelsie L. Monahan (Joseph Charron) of Clifton Park, Jeremiah E. Monahan (Crystal Noble) of Fort Ann and Nathan J. Monahan (Jessica Monahan) of Fort Ann; his stepchildren, Heidi M. Rivers of Hudson Falls and Gerald; his former wife Terrie Monahan (Hayes); his grandchildren, Wyatt Emmett Monahan, Jayce Aubrey Constance, Aaron Patrick Rivers and Torey Cameron Rivers; his siblings, Bonnie Allard (Monahan), Edie McCormick (Richard McCormick), William S. Monahan and Colin "Andy" Monahan (Christy Monahan); his father William E. Monahan; his pets, Miss Molly and Moe Man Monahan; and his close friends, Eddie and Laurie Barot.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his name to the C.R. Wood Cancer Center of Glens Falls Hospital.
