He is survived by: his daughter Amanda Johnson (David) of Sheldon; his grandchildren, Bryce Gooding of Swanton, J. D, Caplinger of Sheldon, Emilyn Caplinger of Sheldon and Reagan Johnson; his great grandchild Grayson Gooding; his stepson Matthew Barnes of St. Albans; and his siblings, Grace Lettow (Axel) of Hardwick, Starlene Bullis and Ray Hill (Heather) of Fairfax. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
