He was predeceased by: his son Craig; and his grandson Matthew Cruz. He is survived by: his wife Carole Sabourin (Cauchon); and his daughters, Lisa Reuschel (David), Bonnie Cruz and Kellie Tremblay (Tim). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers Ed's family has requested donations be made to St. Francis Xavier school.
