We bid farewell to Betty A. Lestage (Winooski, Vermont), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 4, 2025 at the age of 93. Betty touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold McNamara and Thelma May McNamara; her husband Paul R. Lestage; her siblings, John, Walter McNamara and Marion Porter; and her son-in-law Patrick Alger.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Lestage (Sara) of Colchester, VT, Ronald Lestage (Lori) of Colchester, VT and Judy Alger of Milton, VT; her brother-in-law John (Pamela Lestage); and her caregiver Cathy Gidney. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the LaVigne Funeral & Cremation Service (132 Main St, Winooski, VT 05404). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mark's Catholic Church (1251 North Ave, Burlington, VT 05408). A burial was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the New Mt Calvary Cemetery (253 Archibald St, Burlington, VT 05401).
