It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Maria Korpi Vail (Winhall, Vermont), who passed away on July 5, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Korpi and Hilda Korpi; her husband J. Robert Vail; her sons, Captain Robert Vail and Theodore Vail; and her siblings, William Korpi, Lillian H. Chapin and Miriam K. Alexopoulos.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debora Vail Zolnoski of Clarkdale, AZ and Irene H. Kreissle (Richard) of Keene, NH.; her grandchildren, Laura Zolnoski of Austin, TX and Joe Zolnoski of Los Angeles, CA.; and her stepgrandsons, Jeff and Jeremy Gagne.
