He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Taft and Dorothy Taft (Streeter); his wife Charlotte Taft; his brothers, Clifford and Curtis Taft; and his pets, Max and Archy.
He is survived by: his children, David Taft of Windsor, James Taft (Leesa) of Windsor, Melany Peters of Bonneau, SC, Shari Taft of Windsor, Kim Paquette (Mike) of Brunswick Springs, VT and Kathy Smith of Windsor; and his siblings, Robert Taft (Betty Knight) and Brittany Spaniel (George). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
