She was predeceased by: her parents, Irene Chicko and John Newell; her husband Frank Giannini; and her daughter Pamela Scinto. She is survived by: her son Dr. Arthur Pistey of Canaan, NH; and her stepdaughter Kimberly Csapo-Ebert of Fairfield, CT..

Due to advancing Alzheimer's Disease she moved to her sons's home in Canaan, NH and eventually to Windsor, VT.
