He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Cross and Lois Cross (Spafford); his wife Elizabeth; and his siblings, Floyd, Clayton Cross, Laverne Barton, Mary Miller and Carol Sanchez.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cathy Conley of Brownsville, VT, Lori Hood of Windsor, VT, Colleen George of Windsor, VT, Kelley Hacker of Summerfield, FL and Karla Harrington of Windsor, VT.; and his siblings, Gary Cross of Perkinsville, VT, Patricia Ploof, Doris Olmstead of Wilton, NY and Sheila Miller of Cape Coral, FL.. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
