He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Owen W. Rhoad and Evelyn Rhoad (Barris); and his siblings, Robert R. Rhoad, Thomas G. Rhoad and Eleanore "Boots" Teach.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Rhoad; his children, Jennifer DiGrigoli (Robert), Leslie White (Ted), Molly Rhoad (Jim Bertrand), Gretchen Vesper (Donald), Stephanie Murray (Ed) and Andrew Rhoad (Bobbi); his sister Wendy Rhoad; and his sister-in-law Anne Rhoad. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
