It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Ward Powell of Williston, Vermont, who passed away on August 24, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Janet leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Ward and Helen Ward (Bapp); and her siblings, Elizabeth Lavigne, Margaret Quinlan and Wendall Ward.
She is survived by: her husband Martin "Duke" Powell; and her son Shawn Powell (Shelly Farr). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
