He was predeceased by: his parents, Hector Benoit and Frances Benoit (Duffy); his brothers-in-law, John and James Frechette; and also, Robert and Simone Frechette.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Benoit (Frechette); his daughter Margot Rodger (Brian); his grandchildren, Liam and Finn; his daughter Alison Wilson (John); his grandchildren, Carter and Macy; his brothers, David (Mattie Benoit), Michael (June Benoit), Paul (Susan Benoit) and Timothy (Susan "Sukie" Benoit); his nephews, Jeffrey, Patrick, Joseph and Thomas; his niece Sara; and also, Patricia Benoit and Bill.
