He was predeceased by: his children, Rachel Katherine of Essex Junction and Joshua Aidan; and his brother Francis Ellis Brown. He is survived by: his former wife Elizabeth Losier Brown (Betsy) of Essex Junction; his close friend Christine DeSimone of Winooski; his son Josh of Essex Junction; his siblings, J. Casey Gershon (Richard Gershon) of Kalamazoo, MI., Samuel Gilman Brown III (Deana Brown) of St. Albans and Anthony Brown (Margaret Brown) of Colchester; and his nieces and nephews, Matthew Gershon, Samantha Brown, Tara Brown, Joshua Brown and Madi Brown. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Camp Ta-Kum-Ta or St. Jude's.
