She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Anderson and Evelina Crowder Anderson; her son-in-law Gerald Williams; and her husband Rev. Vernon E. Carter of Boston. She is survived by: her sister Barbara Anderson Mimms (Warren Anderson) of Ashland; her daughters, Bernadette Carter Williams and Vernita Carter Weller; and her son-in-law Timothy Weller. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren, including numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends.
