He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Lemieux and Louise Lemieux (Dubois); his siblings, Raymond, Gilles, Claire Doe, Carmen Bromley and Giselle St. Sauveur; his children, Allen Lemieux, Nicole Purwin (Lemieux) and Eric Lemieux; his grandchildren, Andrew Lemieux, Eliza Lemieux (Doug Daigle), Aimee Lemieux and Erin Lemieux; and his sisters, Yolande St. Peter and Rena St. Sauveur.
