With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy M. Otis of Williamstown, Vermont, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 5, 2024 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bohannon and Ida Bohannon (Humpfries); her son James Otis; her brothers, Oscar, Louis, Lester and Lonnie; and her grandchildren, Patrick and Kristina Otis.
She is survived by: her husband Fernand Otis of South Barre; and her children, John Louis Otis of Edgewater, Albert Otis of Las Vegas, Chuck Otis of Orange, Debra Otis of Williamstown and George Otis of Orange City, Florida. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home (7 Academy St, Barre, VT 05641).
