Velma Blodgett Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Velma Blodgett of Wilder, Vermont, who passed away on November 12, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Hanfield and Gertude Hanfield (Pulling) of East Pittsford, VT.; and her siblings, Francis, Lewis Hanfield, Martha, Sudona Hanfield, Pauline Emmons and Thelma Savela.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Blodgett of Hartland; her daughters, Debra Blodgett of Wilder and Diane Blodgett of Wilder; her grandson Carson Wiltse of Watertown, NY; her siblings, Gladys Rickets of Rutland, Edna Kerr of Topsham, Donald Hanfield of Shoreham, Russell Hanfield of Rutland and William Hanfield of Brandon; and her family, Velma, Kathy Gaudette (Kip), Bianca Severance and Wendy Manning. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Knight Funeral Home (903 Hartford Ave., White River Junction, VT 05001). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
