With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Maurer Sr. (Wilder, Vermont), born in Greenwich, Connecticut, who passed away on May 13, 2018 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Kathryn E. Maurer (Schoff); and his parents, Frederick Maurer and Julia Maurer (Zboray). He is survived by: his children, Sheila Morse (Douglas), Richard Maurer, Jr. (Victoria), Elizabeth Clark (Bruce), Jacqueline Grasso (Joseph) and Deborah Maurer; his grandchildren, Stacey Morse Smith, Dustin Morse, Amelia Maurer, Richard Maurer, III (Max), Kaitlin Clark Bruhmuller, Emma Clark, Halle Clark, Joseph Grasso, Jonathan Grasso, Joshua Grasso, Derek Tobin and Spencer Tobin; his great grandchildren, Stella Smith, Dylan Smith and Logan Morse; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Schoff of Ashford, CT, Barbara Dickerman of Boscawen, NH and Ruth Pratt (Dave) of Saxons River, VT. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
