He is survived by: his wife Joan Hetzelt of Kenmore; his daughters, Mary J. Hanifin (Mark Baranovic) of Bethel, CT, Anne M. Hanifin of Burlington, VT and Susan E. Hanifin (Kevin Cotter) of Hanover, NH; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alison (Claire Baranovic), Charles, Caitlin (Grace Hanifin), Isla and Ashley (Henry Cotter); and his friend Joyce H. Stephens.
