He was predeceased by: his parents, David Blakeney and Madeline Blakeney (Fletcher); his siblings, Marlene Cipperly, Jessie Mundell, Charles and David Blakeney; his niece Kimberly Chase; his nephew Stanley Blakeney; and his great-niece Chelsey Blakeney.
He is survived by: his wife Violet Blakeney (Chase); his children, Tammy Blakeney and John E. Blakeney; his grandchildren, Brent Moses (Sandra Chow), Jonathon Blakeney (Lilly Connolly) and Jacey Blakeney; his great grandchildren, Rosie Teal Blakeney and Jonathan David Blakeney; his brother Raymond Blakeney; and also, Brandy Blakeney and Larry Wight (Kim Munyon). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
