Allen Jr. (White River Junction, Vermont), born in Hollywood, California, who passed away on July 8, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Folger Allen and Mary Lena Jewel Allen (Krueger). He is survived by: his wife Susan Allen of Hagerstown, MD; his children, James F. Allen, III of Raleigh, NC and Barbara L. Balinger of Jefferson, MD; his grandsons, James F. Allen IV, Justin Allen, Thomas Balinger and Daniel Balinger; his brother Thomas G. Allen (Carole); and his nieces, Kate Grant and Betsy Gunia of Slinger, WI.. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
