He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar May and Ida May (Kimball); his wife Helen May; his son Harry E. May, Jr.; and his daughter-in-law Dodie May.
He is survived by: his children, Lee T. May of Lenoir, Wanda Cogswell (Brian) of Dummerston, VT, Loretta LeMay of Newport, VA and Myra Bickford of Deering, NH. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
