With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Donald Craft of White River Junction, Vermont, born in White Plains, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Donald left this world on July 27, 2024 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ellen Croft Craft; and his son-in-law Ed Finn. He is survived by: his children, Kinson Craft (Keri) of Hanover, NH, Joan Curtis (Scott) of Ketchum, ID, Lisa Dirksmeier (Brian) of Hailey, ID, Courtney Finn of Cohasset, MA and Leslie McGuire (John) of Ridgefield, CT; his stepchildren, Jay Tweed of Madison, CT and Jennifer Newbury of Larkspur, CA; and his grandchildren, Griffin, Sage Curtis, Huck, Ridge Dirksmeier, Carly, Riley Craft, Piper, Logan Finn, Jack, Abby McGuire, Ryan and Emily Newbury.
In lieu of flowers, we ask you to join us in a toast to "The Donald, the captain of The Varsity.". Donations in Don's name to the Jack Byrne Center or the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, where he received exceptionally compassionate care, are also welcome.
