He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Phillip Blanchette and Maureen Blanchette (Sullivan); his children, Victoria Blanchette (Ian Roberts), Amber Blanchette (Chris Currier) of Quechee, VT, Megan (Alex Farris), Brandon Sharkey (Darcy Terino) of Hartland and Ryan LaPlaca (Nikki) of Quechee; his former wife Lorraine LaPlaca; his siblings, Kevin Blanchette of Byfield, MA, Peter Blanchette of Lawrence, MA, Paul Blanchette of Beverly, MA, Phillip Blanchette of New Market, NH, Dan Blanchette of Methuen, MA, Patrick Blanchette of Methuen and Mary Kate Karagiorgos of Methuen; his close friend Patricia Gately; and his caregivers, Heather and Kiley. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren.
