He was predeceased by: his parents, Vivace Hoisington and Liona Hoisington (Clough); his stepfather Clarence "Bud" Butterfield; and his spouse Vera Oakes. He is survived by: his children, Pauline Angier (Bob) of Woodsville, NH, Emerson Hoisington (Jane) of Brownsville, Lynwood Hoisington (Brenda) of Hartland and David Hoisington (Theresa); and his sister Katherine Hayes of Florida. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, many great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
