We are sad to announce that on February 25, 2022, at the age of 82, Robert C. Wener of West Rutland, Vermont, born in Rutland, Vermont passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Wener and Gertrude Wener (Campbell); his wife Faye Humphreys Wener; his children, Laurie Taylor (Mike) of Cuttingsville, Marney Smyrski (David) of Ira and Robert Wener (Lisa) of Starksboro; his grandchildren, Christine Parry (Adam) of Pittsford, Stacey Godbout (Stephen) of Madbury, NH, Richard Poro (Emily) of Brandon, Paige Wener (Kevin) of Sudbury, Ethan Wener of Starksboro, Marissa Smryski (Kyle) of Preston, CT and Matthew Smyrski (Jaime) of Pittsford; his great grandchildren, Brooke, Boe, James, Madison, Leanna, Collin and Gavin; his siblings, Judy Crowley (John), Carl Wener (Ellen) and Christopher Wener (Christine); and his pet Zack.
Due to COVID concerns, masks are requested at the church service.
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Foley Cancer Center, at RRMC, 160 Allen Street, Rutland, Vermont.
