It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph A. Smith of West Rutland, Vermont, who passed away on February 18, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Smith and Natalie Smith; his siblings, Francis, Thomas, Richard and Dolores Horton; and his nephew Francis Horton.
He is survived by: his nephews, Ronald Smith (Carol) of Hopewell, VA. and Donald Smith of Rapid City, SD.. He is also survived by 4 great nephews and 3 great-great nephews.
