He was predeceased by: his grandfather Edwin Staples. He is survived by: his parents, John Staples (Joann) of West Pawlet, VT and Paula Eastman (Ed) of Hanover, PA.; his wife Lindsey Mattison of West Rupert; his son Landon Staples of West Rupert; his brothers, Brandon Staples and Zack Wood (Hillary) of Danby, VT; his grandmothers, Barb Staples of Danby, VT and Roxanne Graham (Baldy) of Salem; his parents-in-law, Bruce and Jean Mattison of Salem; his brother-in-law Bruce Mattison (Emily) of Woolwich, ME; his close friend John Hamilton of Salem; and his nieces and nephews, Hannah, Hallie, Jasmyne, Ivy and Bruce. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Skyler may be made to any branch of Berkshire Bank to benefit his son, Landon Staples.
