It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edwin Ray (West Hartford, Vermont), born in West Woodstock, Vermont, who passed away on September 30, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin "Ray" and Dorothy Wells (Townsend); his son Rodney Wells; his daughter-in-law Leslie Kelton Wells; and his brother Kenneth "Pete" Wells.
He is survived by: his spouses, Marjorie Neil March and Elizabeth "Betty" Wells of West Hartford; his children, Timothy Wells of Westminster, VT, Gary Wells, Wife Colleen of West Lebanon, NH, Lynda Hart (Randy) and Cheryl Gilbert (Stephen); his daughter-in-law Beverly Wells of Rockingham, VT; his stepchildren, Clark Carboneau (Diane) of Santa Fe, NM., Cindy Schmidt (Rick) of Indianapolis, IN, Cheryl Carboneau (William Brown) of Windsor, VT and Sharon Chandler of Rutland, VT; and his siblings, Joan "Joy" Soule (Bill), Eleanor Van Alstyne of Chester, VT, Sandra Heavisides of Claremont, NH, Janice "Jan" Luce (Jim) of Palmer, AK, Carol Wells (Barbara) of Windsor and Daniel "Dan" Wells (Robin) of Cambridgeport, VT..
