Irene Richardson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene Richardson of West Burke, Vermont, born in Saint Johnsbury, Vermont, who passed away on February 25, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Joseph and Lucille Antoinette Cormier (Laitres); her son Frederick Allen Richardson; her sister Viola Cormier; her granddaughter Ashley Jensen; and her stepmother Madeline Ward Cormier.
She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Oxendine (Tony) of West Burke, VT; her sister Sylvia James of West Burke; her grandchildren, Robert Bousquet III (Jillian) of Glover, VT, Thomas Bousquet (Ayla) of Morrisville, VT and Selina Thomsen (Kaj) of Winterport, ME; and her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Matthew, Christopher and Elna. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Guibord-Pearsons Funeral Home (15 Main St, Lyndonville, VT 05851).
Memorial donations may be made to an animal shelter of one's choice in Irene's name.
