Clara G. Melcher Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Clara G. Melcher of West Burke, Vermont, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 20, 2025 at the age of 96. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Clara G. Melcher to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Austin and Lena Austin (Donna); and her siblings, Harvey Austin, Elgie Brown, Gertrude Wilson and Edgar "Junior" Austin.
She is survived by: her significant other Wayne Melcher; her children, Jeanne McDonald of Bowie, MD, Jane Johnson (Duane) of Lyndonville and Robert Melcher (Peggy Boyer) of Danville; and her sister-in-law Jean Melcher. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the West Burke Methodist Church (144 Church St, West Burke, VT 05871).
