Hezzie Somers Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hezzie Somers of West Barnet, Vermont, born in Saint Johnsbury, Vermont, who passed away on September 23, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Somers and N. Gladys Somers (Livingston); his wife Marion Tuzo Somers (Tuzo); his sister Flora Shorey; his brothers-in-law, Edmund Stowe and Kenneth Dunbar; his son-in-law Peter Papaleo; and his grandson Clint Duncan.
He is survived by: his sisters, Awilda Stowe of Burlington, VT and Alberta Dunbar of Richburg, NY; and his children, Diane Cockrell (Rodney) of Rochester, NY, Brian Somers (Kathleen) of Barnet, VT, Christopher Somers (Trisha) of Lebanon, OH and Jennifer Duncan (Clark) of Barnet, VT. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
