He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William McAlpine and Irish; his sisters, Lois Yingling of Florida and Irene MacDonald of Alabama; his wife Marilyn Muir of Quincy; his children, Jeffrey (Maureen) of Abington, Thomas (Lisa) of Marshfield, Daniel (Katie) of Marshfield, Megan of Marshfield, Nicholas (Charlotte) of Hingham, Kyle Anne (Eric Hilstrom) of Marshfield and Samantha of Colchester, VT.; and his grandchildren, Maggie, Robbie, Grace, Will, Luke, Matt, Jackie, John, Cece, Lily, Eliza, Maddie, Emily, James, Quinn and Paige.
