He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Larney; and his cousin James McKenna. He is survived by: his children, Patricia Brace (Mark) of Wells, VT, Robert Dieckert of Nashua, NH, Edward Dieckert (Lisa) of Pawlet, VT, Margaret Dieckert of Granville, NY and James Dieckert (Dina) of Whitehall, NY.; his grandsons, Brian Brace (Gretchen Lowman) of Asheville, NC, Edward Dieckert (Kaeli) of Gansevoort, NY and Jonathon Dieckert (Alexandra Arnold) of Lexington, KY; his great grandchild Braeden Brace of Asheville, NC; and his friend Joseph Taranto of Southampton, NY.
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, private graveside services for family will be held on Friday, July 24, 2020 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Middle Granville, NY.
