He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ray Powers and Helen Powers; his wife Joyce Hart; his children, Craig Powers (Brenda) of Groton, VT, Darlene Powers (Tom Palin) of Essex Junction, VT and Lisa Powers (Tom Stokes) of Needham, MA; his grandchildren, Todd Powers, Tonya Stetson (Shaun Stetson), Tanner Palin, Marsh Palin and Niamh Stokes; and his great grandchild Paige Stetson. He was also cherished by his wife, children and grandchildren.
