She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlo Lorenzini and Marguerite Lorenzini (Rocchio); her husband Wendell F. Pelkey; her son-in-law Steven Guay; her grandson Darren Smith; and her siblings, Olga Garcia (James), Josephine O'Connor (Lawrence), Alvira Murphy (Raymond), Mary Rivers (Harry), Mario Lorenzini (Rose) and Carlo, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Stephen Pelkey of Jeffersonville, Kathleen Grange (Perry) of Graniteville, Susan Smith (Dwaine) of Groton, Wendy Guay of Underhill, Peggy Lajeunesse (Donald) of Websterville and Carolyn Kittredge (David) of Barre Town; and her siblings-in-law, Wayne Pelkey and Nancy Taplin of Barre. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Monica Catholic Church (79 Summer St, Barre, VT 05641).
