He was predeceased by: his wife Katherine Haley; and his brother Robert Markwell. He is survived by: his children, Bruce Markwell of Pawleys Island, SC, Randy Markwell of Weathersfield, VT, Gregory D Markwell of North Pomfret, VT and Melody Bishop of Weathersfield, VT; and his sister Marion Barr of Weathersfield, VT. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
