He is survived by: his son Louis R. Messier, Jr. (Brenda) of Waterbury; his granddaughter Amy Currier (Steve) of Waterbury Center; and his great grandchildren, Austin Hoyt, Hailey Messier, Cameron Currier and Emma Currier.
