She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Kellogg and Marion Kellogg (Keeler). She is survived by: her husband Eric Smeltzer; her children, Ben Smeltzer (Signe Olsborg), Frida and Neal Smeltzer (Tisha Achorn); and her sisters, Kate Kruesi, Elizabeth Lackey and Elaine Kellogg.
It is her family's wish that contributions in Dale's memory be made to COTS (Committee on Temporary Shelter) or Capstone Community Action.
