He was predeceased by: his parents, William Plunkett and Gertrude Baskins (Vaughn); his stepparents, Allen Baskins and Elsie Plunkett; and his siblings, Jerry Baskins, Mike Baskins, Betsy Pule and JoAnne Maxwell.
He is survived by: his son Ray Scott Plunkett of Waterbury Center; his wife Carol Plunkett of Waterbury Center; his daughter Stacy Lang (Plunkett) of Dandridge, TN.; and his siblings, Ray Plunkett (Joan) of Belton, SC, Judy Kusalich of Soquel, CA, Sandy Archer (Mike), Bill Plunkett (Jane) of Italy, Jim Baskins (Betty) and Norma Hrubesh.
