He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Grant Gardner and Clea Anderson; his in-laws, Roy Louis Buswell and Laurette Fortier; his son-in-law Robert Hogan; and his brother-in-law Kim Proctor.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Marie Buswell Gardner; his siblings, Brant Gardner (Valerie), Debra Proctor, Gary Gardner and Bruce Gardner (Sylvia); his children, Nicole Moss (Devon), Ryan Gardner (Aubrey), Marla Eckman (Kevin) and Marie Hill (Rutger); and his grandchildren, Rhett Gardner, Elle Gardner, Tate Gardner, Bree Gardner, Amelia Moss, Clara Moss, Winnie Moss, Iris Eckman and Zeke Eckman.
