He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Montgomery and Dorothy Bowen (Bewsee); and his daughter Cheryl-Ann. He is survived by: his wife Betty-Lou Bowen; his son Rick Bowen Jr. (Astrid); his grandchildren, Michelle Labounty and Lawrence LaBounty (Kat); and his great grandchild Braeden Labounty.
