He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrill Kathan and Mildred Kathan (Brooks); his brother Wayne Kathan; and his stepdaughter Kathy Brooks. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Kathan-White (Tony) of Temple, TX, Christopher Kathan (Stefanie) of Warren and Mitchell Kathan (Megan) of Lunenburg; his siblings, Francis Kathan of Warren and Reta Goss (John) of Warren; and his stepdaughter Kristina Swinchoski (Bob) of Williamstown. He is also survived by Eleven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
