It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter F. Meyer (Wardsboro, Vermont), born in Astoria, New York, who passed away on March 16, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hans F. Meyer and Mary Meyer (Lorang); his children, Christopher (Laurie) of Williston, Kevin (Heidi) of Brattleboro, Steven (Karren) of Newfane, Michael (Denise) of Townshend, Peter (Holly) of Brookline and Linda Bursell (Michael) of Richmond; and his sister Lorraine Schoellhorn. He was also cherished by 18 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, plus many nieces and nephews.
Many local charities knew Walter was an easy target for donations of toys.
