He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Burnham and Marion Burnham (Cook); his wife Marilyn Wheeler; his brothers, Allen, Frank and Fred; and his great grandchild Lucas.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Lewis of Whitehall, NY and Ted Burnham (Gail) of South Wallingford; his grandchildren, Becky (Roger Eaton) of Danby, Justin Gonyea (Audra) of Westbrook, Chris Burnham (Elizabeth) of South Wallingford and Casey Cooper of Ira; his great grandchildren, Emma, Carter, Grace, Bella, Lyla, Avery, Charlie, Aubrey and Warren; and his sister Alice Ashby of Texas. He is also survived by several sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
