She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis DeCastro and Antoinette DeCastro; her husband Eugene; her children, Linda Place (Bill), Sue Austin (Ed), Eugene, Donald (Kathy) and Denise Zervoudis (Michael); and her grandchildren, Brian, Brandon, Cecile (Joe), William (Taylor), Gabrielle (Kyle), Dylan (Tatum), Matthew, Kristina, Anthony and Nicholas.

In lieu of flowers you can donate to MSK Cancer Center-Sloan Kettering (giving.mskcc.org) in honor of Virginia Ann Scarpato as she was a 22 year pancreatic cancer survivor.
