He was predeceased by: his daughter Kathryn; and his wife Lottie Elizabeth Mackay (Bohm). He is survived by: his brothers, Alastair and Ian; his parent British; his children, Alastair Mackay (Carol Long) of Towson, Ann Mackay of Waterbury and Janet Mackay Wilson (Haile Wilson) of Essex Junction; his significant other Elinor Cohen; and also Maria Bohm Jacobson. He is also survived by nine grandchildren (Fraser, Finlay, Clare, Thomas, Innes, Katherine, Helen, Henry, Elizabeth); nieces, nephews.
