In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Valdah Jane leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Valdah Jane may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Hyde and Thelma Hyde (Whitcomb); her husband George Griffin Jr. of Chelsea, VT.; her son George Griffin III; and her sister Ruth Godin.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Griffin (Barbara) of Vershire, VT, Sandra Carpenter (Lance) of Florida, Teresa MacDougall (Douglas) of Northfield, VT and Debra Camber (Rusty) of Sunapee, NH; and her sister Beatrice Stetson of Rockingham, NC.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren.
