It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Shencavitz (Vernon, Vermont), who passed away on October 6, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Joseph, Richard, Francis Diaz, Rose Adams, Clara Foster, Theresa Greenwood and Stacia Wilkenson.
She is survived by: her parents, Halario Diaz and Emma Diaz (Picard); her spouse Joseph C. Shencavitz; her sons, Joseph Shencavitz, Jr. of Marysville, Gerald Shencavitz of Mount Desert and Peter Shencavitz of Brattleboro; her sister Dolores Topping of Alabama; her grandchildren, Laurie Beth Wilson and Jeffrey Shencvitz; her great grandchildren, Cameron Wilson, Eric Wilson and Grace Shencavitz; and her close friend Gordon Diers of Brattleboro. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
